I've seen just the gauge set cost almost this much, let alone gauges and the pump. The pump seems top knotch, it would be nice to have a bleeder on the gauge set, but for the price paid, they work very well.

Have had ongoing a/c problems with my '99 Durango and thought it might have been air / moisture in the system. Local auto place wanted $99 dollars to do evacuate system and refill with extra $35 per can of freon used! So at that time I decided to get this and do it myself.

Well, it didn't fix the problem...

Sometime later I realized the clutch was bad and decided to replace the entire compressor just to be safe, so I had to do the whole evac procedure again which I'm sure would have been charged to me again if I had it done.

So as far as I'm concerned, this paid for itself already and I can use them as many times as I want in the future...
