I was on the third set of properly installed standard rotors and pads when my 2004 Explorer hit 100K and they were warping already. I installed a set of Powerstop drilled rotors and their Evolution ceramic pads and no more warping. Now its 4 years later, and it has 180K on it and I just replaced them again with this set of drilled/slotted rotors. The pads were about half worn and the only reason for replacing the rotors was a wheel bearing went out and trashed the right side rotor against the bracket. I inspected them carefully and there were no spider cracks or any signs of problems other than the groove the bracket left. But nobody will turn drilled rotors, so here I am. I don't care what anybody says about drilled vs standard rotors... these things lasted WAY longer than any stock rotor on this truck and they stop like crazy with no fade in any weather. They also feel better when towing. Great setup.
