TBK Timing Belt Kit Kia Sportage 2002 2.0L Review

My 2002 Kia Sportage needed a timing belt change, so I was looking at all the big auto parts stores for the parts I needed. What a surprise when I ran across this on Amazon. Everything I was looking for and more in one package. The water pump and gasket, idler, and tensioner (with spring) is from GMB, an OEM from Japan that just happened to be in my engine. The timing and an accessory drive belt is Mitsoboshi, another japanese OEM. The other 2 belts were from Contitech. The valve cover and cam and crank shaft seals were a plus, all from Japan.(My engine is a Mazda designed 2.0L FE-dohc). All this for $165.89. I went to the dealer and the water pump alone was about $160.00. This worked out well for me. I highly recommend this product.

Spectra Premium 0658981 A/C Compressor Review

Replaced a 1 year old black deathed Denso compressor which was denied warranty at R***Auto.

This one worked great from the first moment including at idle.

The materials with it said that it contained anti corrosion fluid, but the one I received actually contained nothing. Materials with it also said use type and amount of oil indicated on chart, but no amount indicated anywhere in materials.

Since system was flushed out and condenser and accumulator replaced, and a 97 Cavalier OEM compressor comes with 9 oz oil charge for the system, I put 4 oz PAG 150 in the compressor and another 5 oz in the accumulator and condenser.

Valley 74510 Adjustable Tow Bar Review

I bought this tow bar to haul a 1995 Jeep Wrangler behind our motor home.

The price/quality equation is about right. The bar performs well and does what it's supposed to do, but it lacks the features of high-end bars made by other manufacturers (e.g. storage on the motor home, only having to get the tow vehicle 'close' to the bar to complete hookup, etc.). Additionally, the kit doesn't include safety chains (although the bar has mounts for them). A trip to the local Wal-Mart solves that issue.

Given this towing solution costs hundreds of dollars less than a higher-end one, I'll put up with the minor inconveniences encountered while hooking up/unhooking. Overall an economical way to tow flat-bumpered cars.

I love these boots because I feel VERY, VERY WELL PROTECTED.

Initially you just lose the "enough" foot sensibility to operate the gears bar on the first rides; but quickly after some rides you just get used to and this is not a problem anymore.

Same for walking; initially you feel kind of rare, but after a while you walk normally. The thing is that bike boots construction must be very robust because it's intended to protect your feet, so...

I've noticed that while I ride, because of the riding position my jean legs are over the level of the boot, so wind comes in. If the ride is on a cold weather it becomes a bit disturbing and you think "...I should have got taller boots...". But I don't like those, so after all this is not a problem against this product. I could just put the lower leg inside the boot or something like that, and that's it. I'm sure when I get better pants (bike rider pants) this won't be an issue anymore.

The bracket they come with make you feel even more secure; you feel your feet stronger and better positioned inside the boot. Also I love the metal parts, I trust they protect my feet always.

There are ventilations conducts so you don't feel a hot environment inside.

These are great boots for any bike ride (city or highway). I recommend this product highly!

Depo M15-1102P-AS7 Nissan Altima Gun Metal Halogen Type Headlight Projector Assembly Review

Let me begin by saying that I really like this product. I bought these once my OE headlights had become so "foggy" that I 'literally' could not drive at night. For the cost, it doesn't get much better than these. They do come as a pair and you will need to purchase 25 Nissan & Infiniti Bumper & Radiator Support Clips in order to complete the proper installation of these headlamps. You can also run HID bulbs with these assemblies however, I found that the supplied halogens that come with this kit was more than ample enough and fit my 2006 Nissan Altima SL like a glove, plus you'd have to include the necessary additional hardware with your headlamp purchase as well which will make things rather pricey [HID bulbs, ballasts, wiring, etc., etc.]. I'll probably upgrade at a later date.
I should also add that the GunMetal (grey) used in the picture and description does not match the Chrome (read:shiny) housing that was supplied for my order but, in the end it suited me because this matches the stock finish found within the tail lamp assembly of the car anyway (This product was chosen BECAUSE of the pictures provided and post telephonic confirmation with an Amazon representative...had I not been as satisfied with that color this oversight might've become a problem).
Overall, installation was simple and easy with the proper tools and time (it took me a little over an hour - the majority of which was the removal and reinstallation of the front-bumper/front clip assembly) but all was a done in relative ease compared to the price of having these 'professionally' installed.
I hope this helps as it is more of a "fill in the gap" for the holes in the product description but I am sure that you cannot go wrong making this purchase for your late model, 2005-2006 Nissan Altima as it is a direct replacement for the stock headlights with enough aftermarket flare and upgradability to keep you happy for the long run.
