I purchased this amp to replace a Class A/B design of the same brand. In the past I wasn't to fond of the low cost class D amps out there because of their lack in ability to reproduce rapid change in notes. I took a gamble with this amp based on the thought that the last time I listened to a cheap class D was about 10yrs ago and was curious if the higher quality designs had filtered down to the lower cost brands. All I have to say is the risk paid off on this one! This amp had no trouble with reproducing any sound of any kind. Wire terminals are just large enough for 4awg wire, and total power estimated from the size and amount of fuses is ~1400watts (30A x 4 x 12V). Plenty to make whole care shake and blow around the hair on your head. Only complaint I have is every so often I can hear a very very high pitch wine from the amplifier when it is on. This is intermittent though and I believe it comes from a "rigged install" and not from a defect with the actual amp. (Wiggling the wires around causes and eliminates the wine).
