I purchased this mount for my 55' Vizio Plasma that weighs about 120 lbs. My main reason for purchasing this item after reviewing many others was based on price and the apparent ease of installation after reading the online manual at the company's website. The cost for this item at [...] is currently $299 so finding this for $143.99 (including S+H) at Amazon was a great deal! As for the ease of installation, it was pretty easy. I mounted this above my fireplace onto wood studs. Since I had a contractor install an electrical outlet where the tv was to be placed, he also installed the mount. I observed him install the mount (literally, 4 bolts into each of the 2 studs and then the mount to the back of the tv). He mentioned how easy it was. We both had to lift the tv onto the wall, but it attached fairly easily and was easy to center. Since the tv sits above the mantel and I'm only 5'6", I have to reach about shoulder level on the bottom portion of my tv to pull it out and swivel. As a result, it's a bit difficult to pull the tv out and push back, but very easy to swivel. It would definitely be easier if it wear lower or if I were taller and could grab both sides of the tv higher up. It should be noted that even when pushed as close to the wall as possible and I swivel it to either side, I do notice a slight tilt/dip likely due to the weight of the tv. For example, if I swivel towards the right, there is a slight dip towards the right. The fact the the tv is about 3" above my perfectly horizontal mantel probably causes this tilt to look worse that it would if the mantel weren't there. I called LevelMount support (24/7 available service) to ask if this was common and they said it was, unfortunately. It's not terrible, mind you, but I do notice it. Again, if you have a lighter tv or placing it on a wall without a horizontal piece of furniture to compare the tilt to, you may not notice this. Otherwise, I am very happy with this mount.
