Don't listen to the review by "123456". It's an obvious spoiler. I own this amp, and for what it is, it is excellent. Think about this: Why would a guy buy a 100 dollar amp for spl competition? Also,if you look at the fuse rating, you know what to expect as far as watts rms. Class D amps are 80% efficient, so with a 40amp fuse, 450 watts rms is expected. A person in spl competition should obviously know this before buying. If both of his amps smoked, then to be polite, he must have mis-wired something. A product like this that only has one review can look really bad if someone has it out for this company for some reason. I have had nothing but good experiences with Boss Audio, and have bought MANY of their products. This amp has plenty of power for the average system, and sounds great to boot. Class D full range amps are the future, and I think some people are, unfortunately, stuck in the past.
