I bought this kit because of the great Amazon price and also for the small size of the 50w mono-crystalline panel. It fits perfectly on the roof of my Scamp camper and sufficiently charges my deep cycle group 24 battery. My power needs are very small though; only a 1.1 gpm 12v water pump, Endless breeze12v fan and a small led TV. The 5 amp solar charger that came with it worked fine but kinda had a cheap feel so I decided to upgrade to a better 10 amp charger. This will allow me the future option of easily adding another panel, probably a remote one that I can move into the sun when camping.

The included 10' of wire was just right for me and the mounting brackets were straight forward making installation easy. Be sure to get extra wire to run from the charger to battery (i used 10g), fuse holder & fuse, butt& ring-connectors, some butyl tape and/or some other type of sealant for the roof (if you decide to drill & bolt the panel down which I feel is safer than the VHB tape route).

Shipping was properly packed and arrived very fast. When the time comes for me to purchase more panels, I know where I'll turn. Thanks Amazon and thanks Renogy.
