Draw-Tite 36245 Class II Frame Receiver Hitch Review

I picked this hitch because the install is so easy and it's made by a reputable firm that's been in the business for years. Thankfully my sister was sharper on the uptake than I, and watched a video of the install. (Long story, but she's giving my wife and I her Park Ave. because of the inheritance of another vehicle - I live on the west coast and will be flying back east to install this with her and then drive the car back.)
For some bizarre reason Draw-Tite is NOT including p/n 80101-1. This one dollar item is a little "pull through" tool that enables you to get the bolts in place through the body channel that will be supporting the hitch. You could probably do it with some baling wire, or perhaps a mechanics flexible pickup tool...but after watching the video - this is the way to go.

@ Draw-Tite : You're kidding, right ? Charge a buck-fifty and include the thing !!! Sheesh !

Update 5/28/13. The hitch is ANIMAL. I was concerned, mounting something like this to what amounts to - sheet metal. I installed it on sis' Park Ave while there in NJ. I drove the Park Ave. from Marlton,NJ to Portland,OR in 3 days averaging 62mph across the country pulling a twin axle U-Haul 6'x12' trailer 3/4 full of Singer Paul Bunyan bedroom pieces (bedframe, armoire, hutch/vanity & 2 night stands; as well as some other items.) When I left the trailer here in Portland's U-Haul dealer, the employees were stunned...never having seen a car of this size haul that kind of trailer. Only other thing I'd say Draw-tite should do is make the instructions on the isolator pads a bit clearer, in addition to including the pull-through tool. Otherwise - GREAT !!!
