I am posting this review as I feel obligated to get this out there! I researched for a good 3 months before buying this stereo so I am well versed about this subject. I am a electronics tech and have repaired only car audio for over 25 years as well. I finally decided on this stereo as it was the best list of options for the money. I needed 4 volt outputs and I wanted my stereo to work with my android phone and to have a built in HD tuner and serious radio as well(which is a add on you have to buy separate but is controllable via the head unit)..I didn't care if it had a CD player or not but for the money OK. This stereo had all these things and it sounds SUPER sweet as well. I read all kinds of complaints all over the internet about compatibility issues with cell phones...hmm...The only thing I can come up with on that one is these people had no idea what they were doing as it works flawlessly for me...it did take some figuring out though..this is not a complicated stereo, as long as your computer literate you will figure it out in a day or so. to make the phone work better download the android app and shut off the MOOD thingee that makes up play lists and then FORCE the output instead of using the auto function and it works with no issues at all and I can answer my phone through the stereo with the included mic and it works great too.Also the pandora app kicks a-s-s. It also says in the manual that if you disable the built in amp(in the setup menu) and just use the RCA outputs that sound quality will improve and it wasn't a joke..I am EXTREMELY impressed with the sound quality through my tube/mosfet hybrid amp! WOW I cant say just how happy I am with this head unit...I have so many sources of music at my finger tips its unreal...and I just bluetooth my phone to the unit leaving open the USB port for a flash drive or whatever my mind comes up with next...And heres a strange bonus...I live in a very rural area and my cell phone works poorly if at all once I leave the closest town to us but when its just sitting on my center council or in a dock in the car pandora works all the way home flawlessly..and I mean all functions...I can answer calls and pandora works too..I have no idea how but its one heck of a bonus...this is as long as I dont pick it up and play with it..which I dont have to once its blue toothed to the head unit as everything is either hands free or done via the head unit...I'm guessing I make a lousy antenna for the phone when I have it in my hands...LOL
