Dorman 620-904 Harmonic Balancer Review

I was searching for a low priced fan for my 2002 530i and came across this fan. I searched the part number up and took a gamble . Although this is not a brushless fan like the original fan it has ball bearings instead of brass bushings. I can't believe BMW put all that tech into a fan and cheaped out on the bearings. This fan works great but you may have to do a little prep work to make it last. I'm talking about sealing the electronics up with some RTV caulking and using liquid electrical tape to seal up potential leaks in the wire. I would definitely buy this again if I get another bimmer.
