The materials the tailights are made from are quality and are assembled very nicely.
The plug interface of the tailights took tremendous effort to "push" into the plug interface of the BMW electrical system. Making the "plug an play" description a little misleading. Additionally, consumers should be aware how labor intensive it can be dis-assembling all of the trunk fascia to get the the hardware to actually swap out the units. DIY-allow yourself 2-3 hours to take your time. On youtube you can see experts do this in 8 minutes (editted of course). A body shop or a mechanic might take an hour to do it so weigh the pros and cons of paying someone over the headache and your own personal time.

I would have liked to see actual product photos of these lights mounted on an actual vehicle. Once put on, I actually prefer my OEM lights over the aftermarket. I think The Spyder lights are a quality product, well constructed, but all things being equal, I think I would have selected the BMW OEM replica LED lights from Spyder over these.
