The good:
The purchase and delivery services were on time with no surprises.

Product function is 5-star. I'm very happy with these grips.
A) The contours provide a nice place to nest a couple of your fingers.
B) The grips heat nicely (I live in the NW US. Though it will be months before I'm riding in temperatures less than 40 degrees F. again.)
C) The throttle boss works well.
D) On my bike (a Honda Rune), I like the looks of these better than the more chromey, trailer queen OEM originals. The Avons are more masculine while retaining a custom elegance.
E) The handle bar mounted control unit is compact, clean, and I think, the most attractive design on the market.
F) My work-weary hands are more comfortable after my long commute home.

The not so good, 4-star:
1) The supplied electrical jumper connections could be less bulky so they would more easily thread through the handlebars. I went through several auto-parts stores before finding 18 gauge in-line units in stock (at Auto Zone) to use instead.
2) The installation instructions were adequate, but I would have welcomed a more refined wiring diagram and a tip or two about the easiest way to unhook and re-hook throttle cables.

I would like to have given an over-all rating of 4.5 stars.
