The Flare Windshields are measured from the center bolt hole to the start of the flip on the top of the windshield. Pre-drilled for easy mounting using stock windshield hardware. Harley Davidson radar detectors and GPS systems that are mounted in the recommended fairing mount position will not fit with the 8 Flare Windshield. The black, chrome, and black chrome windshields are completely opaque, you cannot see through them. Made in the U.S.A.

I have one of these on one of my Road Glides and am adding one to my second Glide.
It not only deflects the wind over and around me but puts additional downforce on the front end of the bike, adding to the stability on straightaways as well as in the curves at speed. Made a big difference in the ride and also reduced the wind noise when riding in a 3/4 or half helmet.
