Jeep Wrangler Hood Lock Review

I had no idea that I would have to rivot this on, let alone knew they use 1/4" rivots. My local dealership said they would install for $35 but I bought a rivot gun at my local Harbor Freight for $20. The rivots that came with it would not break off so luckily the gun came with some, which worked fine. I love that I can use my Jeep key for this. Follow the instructions on keying it so you don't have to get it reset, or just have the dealership install it. Now it will take a lot of work to get to my battery and other engine parts. This is way more substantial than the other aftermarket hood locks IMO.
